ACCIDENTS AT WORK

There are many rules and regulations designed to protect your health and safety while you are at work. Despite that, accidents happen.

You may be able to claim if your accident is caused by, for example, an unsafe workplace, defective equipment or machinery, inadequate protective gear or equipment, falls or falling objects, lack of training, unsafe working practices, or the negligence of other workers.

ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS

If you are injured on the roads you may have a claim if you can show that someone else was at fault, whether you are a car driver or passenger, a motorcyclist or pillion passenger, a pedestrian or riding your bike or taking the bus.

SLIPS, TRIPS OR FALLS

Slips, trips or falls are a common cause of injury. They can happen when you are at your work or just going about your daily life, for example shopping, eating in a restaurant or walking along the street.

You may be able to claim if you can show that your accident was caused by the negligence of the occupier of the premises, or by the people responsible for maintaining the road or pavement.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If you are injured by a defective product

OCCUPATIONALLY RELATED CONDITIONS

If you can prove that you have developed a medical condition caused by your work, you may be able to claim compensation from your employer or former employers. Examples are asbestos-related conditions, industrial deafness, vibration white finger, asthma or dermatitis.

UNUSUAL CLAIMS

Some claims do not fall into the obvious categories. No matter how unusual the circumstances of your accident, we can advise you on whether you may have a claim.
